Dearest Jeff & Sue,
It was absolutely wonderful seeing you two on Friday night!!! I think of you guys all the time, especially when my sister Kelly tells me that she comes out to Garland to visit occasionally. Anyway, your music is just as awesome as it was before...and even better!!! Sue & I had a great time, thank you so much for the memories, music, fun, and most especially for your friendship...you two are so very, very special...love you- Shawn :)

I loaned my Martini Hill CD to the bartender at my country club who was getting real tired of hearing Christmas music. She played it on the cocktail lounge sound system and you two now have bunch of fans in Wichita Falls, Texas. I just ordered Bird and look forward to receiving it. I still have very fond memories of New Year's at Garland several years ago!

We were at Garland for the Pepsi party-thought we would go to the bar for one quick drink--man were we wrong--you guys were awesome!!! I don't think LeeRoy has had that much fun in a long time--playing the bongos- dancing and just listening to you two. Love the CD also. Hope to see you soon, maybe at the Dry Dock. Thanks from the PEPSI GANG

Melissa and I saw you at the Island Grill last Friday. We were the ones that just got engaged. We were so happy to stumble accross you two after dinner at the grill. That's one of the things that keeps us coming back to the keys, listening to and talking to great musicians like you. Unfortunately, your set was rained out that evening. We were hoping to hear much more. Ah well, maybe another time. The CD is great, se ya around.

We are so glad that Randy insisted that we should meet and hear you two. Joy, Steve, and I were blown away! Just listening to your very talented performance was fun, but you both are so warm and friendly--that made it a special evening! Thank you for a great time. (We listened to the whole "Bird" CD on the way home--what a treat!)
Sincerely,
Cheryl
P.S. Hope you're having a wonderful trip!

It was great to see you at Garland after so many years! Your talent is immeasurable – I was really impressed with how good your band is. One of my absolute favorites is your rendition of Shakakan (spelling?). That’s an all time favorite of mine and it’s amazing how you make it sound so authentic! Congratulations on your new CD! I could not think of a better name for it than “Bird.” It really reminds me of a true connection with nature – earth, wind, water, and birds. These are my favorite things, and I honestly believe that we need to do everything we can to protect the pigeons, doves and ducks. Thanks for such a soulful experience and that special connection with the good earth. Will your next CD include my favorite Shakakan? (spelling?).

Jeff and Sue,

With the demands life continues to throw our way it is so easy to bury our passions and dreams so deep that we begin to question our own exsistence and forget who we are and what we really want out of life. You two have stayed the course. Held fast to your ideals and though faced with many challenges along the way you always found your way back to the path you started out on. Now through you music you are able to share with others the lessons learned along the way. I above anyone am so proud of who you are and look forward to watching you continue to grow and share your music with the rest of the world. Thank you for being a part of my life and helping me realize what is important. I love you both and continue to be one of you biggest fans.

Love,
Guy

HEY! Congrats on the new CD! I listened to it and read the lyrics. All I can say is...WOW, you guys really need some professional psychiatric help?

But seriously folks, great work. I heard flavors of Nickel Creek, Shawn Colvin, Sam Phillips, and lots of others. You have a great style. Keep it up!

ps. Next time I come out, I'm leaving the drunkards at home!

WOW! Come on now people, have you heard it? Could we really expect anything less? Week after week, year after year, we've been blown away by this dynamic duo's live performances at Herman's/Garlalnd. Night in and night out they've hammered out familiar rock classics, country, current pop hits and just about any request that the crowd shouts out to them. They do it live and we love it. Now with the release of "bird" these two have truly taken flight. This studio production has allowed them to reach way beyond the live experience by giving them creative license to explore their own unique influences. Can you say "talent"? Let me tell you, these guys have it and it really shows on this CD. Do yourself a favor, buy the CD, take a listen for yourself. These songs evoke some true emotion. Mature, clever, gorgeous tracks on this diverse collection will take you through discovery, triumphs, tragedy, loss and love. Congratulations Jeff and Sue!!! The labor was well worth it. You really delivered!

September 25, 2005

Jeff & Sue,

'Bird'...what a wonderful CD.

Quite a tasty mix of original material. Every time I bite into it, new sensations stimulate my pallet. What new discoveries will I make of the intricate subtle blend of sounds so meticulously placed?...I can't wait.

There is one problem though...I need another CD. Sally & I are keep taking it from each other.

You both put your hearts & souls into this one...what a heartfelt CD.

We hope to see you soon,

Tom & Sally

jeffandsue,

I knew it...I just knew it !!

Three nights this summer Pat and I enjoyed your rendition and variations of popular songs at Garland. An intimate venue, except I came real close to standing up and yelling "PIPE DOWN" !!! to the "preoccupied" at the beginning of each Landslide. Your energy, passion and creativity is so refreshing!

When I heard you were releasing a CD of all original work, I just knew that same passion and creativity would be unleashed in your own personal way. I particularly love the texture of your compositions. You weave a tapestry of music and vocals that is as good as ANYTHING I have heard...EVER !!! The CD "Bird" is pure gold as far as I'm concerned. I'll probably have to buy another copy because we're wearing out the tracks!

The sky is the limit for U2....you've already taken us above the clouds !

Thanks and Good Luck,

billandpat
