Had a great time last weekend. I'm a friend of Bruce Kaiers and all he talked about was the great entertainment that was going to be in the lounge that night and he was right. Well to say we had fun with you guys, would be an understatement. U guys are so personable, friendly and really get the audience involved. U guys are not only unbelievable musicians, entertainers, and singers. But you have a real genuine niceness about u.
Sue always has time to sit and talk, and Jeff must be getting sick by now of our on going talks about Angus Young.

Jeffrey and Susan,
I just wanted to take a couple minutes out of my day to thank you both for being who you are. You are incredible hosts, entertainers, rockers, and friends. I love bringin my friends/family up to see you guys to show off what I am fortunate enough to take part of "All Summer Long". We had so many Garland Virgins this year and ALL of them have called me and thanked me and asked how they can get ahold of you guys to thank you. We could go somewhere warm, stay home, or just party at the cottages but there is NO place we'd rather be then hanging out with you guys.
Jeff, thank you SO much for helping me get Mike on stage and lettin him jam a bit. It made his whole weekend. He's a little stage shy but once he gets up there, he's a pretty passionate musician.
Susan! Thank YOU so much for making my new girl Katie feel like shes one in the Garland family. She is a BIG photography buff, her job is developing pictures actually, so taking pictures for her is her passion. I think you ladies both share that love! You are such an incredible woman and a great friend.
Okay gotta get back to work, Dad's gonna start whining! :-) Thank you both again, and I can't wait to see you this spring/summer.

Long time no see. My cousin Rolf told me about your web site. He was surfing the web looking for Al and you. You guys look the same. Can't say the same for Tom and I. Saw Al about 2 years ago when he was in Tawas. Tim and Cheryl saw him about 2 weeks ago when he was playing up in Alpena. I guess I need to get a hold of him. Not that we are so far apart.

What a long crummy day I was having until I came home to check out some emails, and lo and behold there awaits the Garland Newsletter. Sweet! Lets see what’s new. As I scroll along, all I see are all the reminders that winter is rounding the corner and I didn’t golf as much as I had hoped – bummer again. Finally, “Check out Jeff and Sue’s Hotel Garland song!” We’ll I started the song, yelled for Mike after hearing “On a Michigan highway…” We both listened and smiled, not saying a word. When the song ended, my one word to Mike was TALENT!, to which he quickly concurred.
Garland, the members and the guests are so fortunate to have fun and talented folks like you. How many hotels and resorts have their own personalized song. Very cool.

Hey you guys, sorry about missing this year, I was unable to make the trip due to surgery I had in May on my right shoulder thus making it impossible to play golf. Some of the guys came up for the week but they said they didn't come over to the lounge which is really unfortunate as that is always a highlight of our stay. We really had such a good time and I wanted to thank you again for letting me brush some of the rust of my hands… that really was great! (hands were a little sore for golf the next morning but I managed to make it thru the round OK – yep, my hands were more sore than my head from all those drinks!! Hahaha)

Hi Jeff & Sue. It's been a long time no see. I am so impressed with everything you two are doing. You look fabulous, too. Long gone are the days of playing in the dive bars of Rose City. I am living in Montana now, but maybe on my next trip back I will get a chance to stop in & see you @ Garland!
I loved Martini Hill, and I am sad that I haven't had the pleasure of listening to any of your new stuff yet.

Just want to let you know that we had a great time dancing and singing with you two last night. We were at The Garland Golf Resort for Pete and Susan Stevens wedding. They told us about you two were a lot of fun so after the wedding reception last night, we headed into the bar. WOW....we had a great time. We danced the night away....thank you so much. I hope to come up and listen to you two again sometime. Have a great rest of your summer!!!
